A surreal experience: Vacation on garden leave

I just got in from the Abruzzo and boy, am I tired. No, not from the vacation itself, but rather from the 8-hour drive that became a 13-hour one due to (lots of) unforeseen traffic jams.

You may be asking yourself "what did he need a vacation from? He's on leave anyway." While this is true, being able to get away did help me realize that rebooting yourself is no easy task and that it can be taxing.

My ideas for content had all but dried up, I had no idea where to apply for a new job and after more than a year and a half in quasi-lockdown, I needed to get away and so did my family.

We had a blast, but I won't bore you with the details.

What's germane for this page is that I came back with not only new energy, but also new ideas and inspiration. Keep an eye on my Facebook and Instagram for a look at what's coming.
